Shrek Forever After

I read "Shrek Forever After".

A long time ago, the King and Queen for Far Far Away had a baby girl.

Princess Fiona was a princess the day, but at night she was an ogre.

Fiona needed True Love's Kiss.

Rumpelstiltskin came to see the King and Queen. He was a bad man. He tried to deceive them.

Then a man came from Fiona's tower. "Fiona had True Love's Kiss!" he said.

Rumpelstiltskin was very angry. Who kissed her?" he thought.

It was Shrek. Fiona was now an ogre all the time. Shrek and Fiona were happy.

But for Shrek it wasn't always easy. Every day was the same.

I'm not the same Shrek now", he thought sadly.

Rumpelstiltskin said "I can help you. I can give one day of old Shrek back to you." to Shrek.

Shrek was received this invitation.

What fate awaits him...?

Lucky Break

I read "Lucky Break".

There is a boy playing in a football game. His name is Tom. He likes football.

But one day, suddenly, somebody pushes Tom. He falls and breaks his leg.

A week later, Tom is reading a Los Angeles newspaper. Laurel Rowe's new movie opens this evening. She's his favorite movie star. Maybe he can get autograph. His leg is broken, so he'll going to get a taxi to the movie theater. 

A long car arrives at the movie theater. It stops, and door opens. Movie stars appeared. Reporters run and take photos. The crowd moves, and people push Tom.

"Stop! You're pushing me!" Tom shouts at the people behind him. But the people in the crowd don't hear him. "Stop! You're pushing me!" Tom shouts again, but the situation doesn't change. 

Tom falls.

Laurel Rowe's foot hits Tom's crutch, and suddenly she is falling, too!

She is very angry. Very angry. She takes Tom's crutch, and hits him with it.

"No, Laurel, stop it!" Hugo White, a movie star shouts.

He and a policeman stop her and take away the crutch.

The reporters take photos.

The next morning, there is a picture of Tom in the newspaper. And there's the story of Laurel Rowe and me at the movie theater.

Then what will happen next...? The title of this story is "Lucky Break". What's mean?

When I finished reading this story, I thought its ending is quite unexpected.

I realized again that nobody knows what will happen to our life.

Carnival

I read "Carnival".

There is a man called Jake. He'll go to the Notting Hill Carnival. It is a hot afternoon and Jake is sitting on a bench in Notting Hill. 

Suddenly, he sees some people in costumes. They have balloons and drums in their hands. The procession is starting. 

Jake looks at the beautiful tall girl in her carnival costume. Their eyes meet and she smiles at him. Her name is Maria.

Suddenly, he knows. It's love!

The carnival procession moves down the street. There is a lot of music, noise and colour. But he wants to meet beautiful girl. 

Maria looks down and sees Jake again. He has a friendly face and she likes him too. They talk each other shortly, but soon Jake lose sight of Maria. He sees a camera on the table, and takes camera. He wants a photo.

Then, tourist finds a policeman. The camera Jane took is his. What fate awaits him!?

This story is very thrilling, and so interesting. I think Jake meant no harm, but he should have been little calmly. However, I think love someone is wonderful.

FLYING HOME

I read FLYING HOME. 

There is a bird from Brazil. His name is Felix, and he lives in New York with Baxter family. He likes the Baxters, and the Baxters like him. But Felix is not happy. Baxter's home is big and exciting, but it's not for him. He wants to go back to Brazil. 

He remembers his last day in the junbgle. The two men with white hats. The big box. The long plane journey. The shop-"Beautiful Birds"-in New York. 

He thinks he wants to be with his family again. Then, he decides to fly home to the jungle. 

One day, Mr Baxter opens Felix's cage to give him some food. Then he hears the telephone. Other families are busy, so Mr Baxter goes to telephone, but forges to shut Felix's cage. Felix can see an open window. "This is it!" he thinks. He flies out of his cage and out of the window. Behind him he hears, "Hey! Felix!!" but he does not go back. Then, through he's flying, he meet some birds and he find the way to go back to home.

I can see this story from the bird's point of view, so it was so interesting, and this story healed my mind. I think any animals should live artlessly.

The Emperor’s new clothes

I also read "The Emperor’s new clothes".
Long ago, there was an emperor who liked new clothes so much and spent all the money to his clothes. One day, he heard the good news. According to two men who make these clothes, it’s about luxury clothes that won’t be able to see by fool. The emperor thought it must be great clothes. So he requested it by spent much money. Two men moved empty weaving device all night. Yes, these clothes are absolute counterfeit. When the emperor saw these clothes, he was surprised to see nothing. But he wanted everyone to look up to him, so he said he can see these clothes. The next day, he appeared on the parade. Of course, the emperor was naked. He was laughed by many people. He noticed that he wore nothing, but he puffed out and walked proudly.
This story tells us shame of showing exaggerating vanity. The emperor was such a vain person, so he experienced embarrassed and terrible feelings. I think we should not only laugh at him but also learn from him. This story gave me a kind of moral.

Cinderella

I read "Cinderella (Cinderella, or the little glass slipper)".

There was a girl who is poor girl. She lives with her mean stepmother and her daughters. The girl was called Cinderella. She was always poor appearance but she is most beautiful of her stepfamily. She had to work so hard because her stepmother ordered her many tough housework. But she always did them with no complaint.

One day, King’s son gave invitation to her family for ball. They were so excited and sisters were always thinking of their dress in the ball. Cinderella had good sense of fashion, so her sisters asked her what to wear in ball. She also did their hairs. The day of ball, he saw her sisters off, then she dissolved in tears. The truth was she also wanted to go to the ball very much. Then, her godmother appeared. She used magic. She changed many things into special things that enabled to take Cinderella to ball. And her godmother made her dress very beautiful. She was so delighted. Many people were so surprised her beauty when she appeared in ball. She spend wonderful time in ball, but she enjoyed so much, she almost forgot her magic ending. She said goodbye to King’s son hastily, and she left the ball. She left her glass shoe carelessly. King’s son picked up it. After that, King’s son started to look for Cinderella by glass shoe. What kind of destiny of King’s son and Cinderella…!?

I have known this story since I was a child. But if I read it many times, it is so great story. I was so moved and I felt my heart was purified. “Cinderella” is an immortal story.

Snow White

I read ''Snow White''.
When I saw this title, I thought it may pretty story. But through I was reading this story, I noticed it's ''Shirayukihime''! I read it after a long time. In this story, an ugly Queen plans to exclude Snow white. One day, Snow white was kicked out by Queen, and got lost in forest. Then she encountered seven pygmies. They lives together. But a few days later, a Queen brought poison apple to Snow white, and Snow white fainted. What is going to happen to her from now on...!? It's so interesting story.
